Angelica, founder of Vida Maya, personally purchased the vintage Huipil (the traditional female garment of woman in Guatemala) directly from the weaver. Once purchased, our artisan family crafted this one-of-a-kind convertible bag in their small workshop in the highlands of Guatemala. Your purchase helps preserve our commitment to ethical practices and helps provide steady employment to the many families that proudly handmade this piece of art for you.

This stunning vibrant bag was hand crafted using luxury leather and a vintage huipil from the village of Chichicastenango, El Quiche, Guatemala.
